Wall of Excuses
Wall of Excuses

The Wall of Excuses was created in the early days of the Lean initiative, by senior managers from The University of St Andrews, when they were asked why they thought people wouldn’t want to work with the Lean Team. It lists some of the most commonly heard excuses for non-engagement.

The Wall of No Excuses

In comparison, the Wall of No Excuses is a more recent development, serving as an antidote to the negativity expressed in the Wall of Excuses. Adopting these attitudes when confronted by a problem is much healthier and much more likely to lead to success.
