We run two Introduction to Lean programmes: the first is aimed at senior managers and the second at front-line staff and middle managers. Throughout both sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to apply their new-found knowledge in a variety of interactive simulations and exercises.

The topics covered include: the origins of Lean thinking, the history of Lean in St Andrews, Lean basics and the St Andrews Model, and a number of tools and techniques. Unique to the Introduction to Lean for Senior Managers session is an emphasis on championing Lean initiatives and projects, and the strategic-level value that Lean can bring to your institution or organisation.

At the end of the session, staff will walk away with an understanding of Lean, and a number of tools and skills they can bring back to their everyday work.
