Setting the Scene

The University’s original finance system was several versions out of date, and lacked important functionality. There was also an issue with staff training.

There were a number of problems with the original P2P process:

  • Suppliers not paid on time
  • Frequent errors in VAT, amount, or delivery charges
  • The centralisation of some services had not been fully embraced

Process invoices more efficiently to pay suppliers by the due date.

  • Limitations of the current softslipware
  • Financial regulations

Qualitative Benefits

  • Majority of suppliers paid by the due date
  • Significant reduction in queries about POs, invoices, and when payments will be made
